The President of a Village or Incorporated Town or Mayor license plates are available only to the president of a village or incorporated town or mayor.

A letter from the village or incorporated town or municipality verifying the individual's status as a president of a village or incorporated town or mayor must accompany the application.

A letter also must be submitted annually with the registration renewal verifying the individual's status as president of a village or incorporated town or mayor. This request may only be processed in the Springfield Office.

The license plates must be surrendered when the person no longer serves as the president of a village or incorporated town or mayor.

  • Newly acquired vehicle/first-time issuance - $209
    ($95 title fee + $99 registration fee + $15 original issuance fee)
  • Currently titled vehicle/first-time issuance - $114
    ($99 registration fee + $15 original issuance fee)
  • Current plates expire within 90 days - $143
    ($99 registration fee + $29 replacement fee + $15 original fee)
  • Current plates do not expire within 90 days - $44
    ($29 replacement fee + $15 original issuance fee)
  • Annual renewal - $101
    ($99 registration fee + $2 special plate fee)

Availability

  • President of a Village or Incorporated Town or Mayor License plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles, trucks, vans, recreational l truck or recreational trailers weighing 8,000 pounds or less and sport utility vehicles.
  • Not available as Vanity or Personalized
  • Not eligible for Circuit Breaker
