The Illinois Police Association is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1901 by a group of law enforcement officers who were vitally interested in the welfare of their profession. Since then the Illinois Police Association has worked to support those in the law enforcement profession as well as serve their communities through a variety of benevolent causes.
Police officers lay their lives on the line for us every day. Sadly, many of them die while serving their communities, leaving their families and often young children behind. To help support families of fallen police offers, Illinois Police Association License Plates are offered. Proceeds from the
sale of these plates will help provide death benefits and college scholarships for children and spouses of police officers killed in the line of duty.
