Adult Literacy Grant Program Peer Review Committee Committee Roster | 2008 Meeting Schedule | Meeting Archives The Adult Literacy Grant Program Review Committee is composed of volunteers who apply for the responsibility of reviewing the Adult Literacy Grant Program proposals. They assist the Literacy Advisory Board in conducting a preliminary review of the adult literacy grant proposals which are then considered by the Literacy Advisory Board who recommend to the Secretary of State those projects deserving of funding. Statewide Cataloging Standards Committee Committee Roster | 2008 Meeting Schedule | Meeting Archives The Statewide Cataloging Standards Committee is responsible for developing a cataloging standards document that prescribes bibliographic practices and guidelines for cataloging training and certification throughout Illinois. They meet bi-monthly. Talking Book and Braille Service (TBBS) Advisory Committee Committee Roster | 2008 Meeting Schedule | Meeting Archives The program in Illinois is administered by the Illinois Secretary of State. It is a division of the Illinois State Library. The Illinois network consists of the regional library in Springfield and four talking book centers. The Advisory Committee is made up of users of the program who offer advise. They meet four times per year, three times by conference call and once in person. Virtual Reference Advisory Committee Committee Roster | 2008 Meeting Schedule | Meeting Archives Advises the Illinois State Library on the implementation of the statewide virtual reference project, AskAway. The committee assists in all levels of implementation, training and sustainability. |
