You can determine if you are already qualified to transact business in Illinois by going to the following site:

Corporate/LLC Search / Certificate of Good Standing

Click on: Search the Real Time Corporate/LLC Database / Certificate of Good Standing

Enter the name of the corporation or LLC in the space provided and then click Submit. Click on the name of your corporation or LLC to bring up the File Detail Report to verify the State of Incorporation or Organization. If your corporation or LLC does not appear, it is not qualified to transact business in Illinois.
